This spec project explores how Canva Business lifecycle emails could guide users from their first design to long-term brand building.

My Approach

I designed a three-part EDM journey across onboarding, activation and growth, focusing on reducing friction and showing progress at each stage. The layouts were designed to be templated, allowing content and modules to be easily reused, swapped, or personalised across different user segments.

Challenges

The main challenge was designing a lifecycle that reflected how business owners actually grow. Each EDM needed to align with a different mindset, from getting started to building momentum and thinking long-term about their brand. The journey had to feel progressive, not repetitive.
